Our Testing Practice celebrates a Stellar 2023!


Testing is in our DNA. Since our formation in 2018, the Stellar Testing Practice has been central to our stratospheric growth. 

As the company matures, our key focus for the next five years and beyond is our testing team’s personal and professional growth. Investing in developing our people ensures we continue to deliver world-class service and also guarantees that we can service our clients’ ever-evolving needs.

Ensuring our people feel supported is vital to our ongoing success

Under the tutorship of Nadia McKay, who joined Stellar as Head of Testing Practice, we have further developed our line management, training and development capabilities. Nadia said, “Ensuring our people feel supported both within Stellar and on client sites was our starting point from day one in Stellar. Moving forward, our focus now becomes developing our practice as an entire capability and for all individuals within it. Our people are our product and are front and centre of our ambitions.”

A driving force for the Stellar Testing Practice in 2023 and the coming year will be education, training and further development of our test automation capability. This is in the safe hands of Shakeel Nidasheshi – who recently joined Stellar as our Lead Test Automation Manager. Shakeel said, “The development of our test automation capabilities in the coming year is incredibly exciting. It will enable us to dramatically increase our testing and QA capacity and capability while supporting our clients’ strategic ambitions”.

On a recent visit to one of our clients in the South of England, our leadership team was inspired by the togetherness and family feel that has developed and exists within the large Stellar test team. We agreed to host quarterly events in 2024 with this team to deepen relationships further and strengthen the collaborative culture. Learning from each other is the most effective way forward.

We are proud that we’ve grown our diverse client base throughout 2023 and built a solid base of new relationships and engagements, which we are confident will mean 2024 will be just as successful.

Stellar’s Head of Testing, Alan Campbell, said, “Next Year will be massive for Testing in Stellar Omada. We aim to train our people so that everyone wants to hire them but make them feel so good that they don’t want to leave. In tandem, this will allow us to continue delivering the first-class service that our clients demand and deserve. We believe our plans are well on the road to delivering that aim.”
