2024 has been an incredible year for the Stellar Group, filled with milestones, growth, and achievements.
Here’s a look back at what we’ve accomplished across Stellar Omada, Stellar Connect, and Stellar Elevate.
Stellar Omada had a standout year. In May, we unveiled our new rebrand, marking a fresh chapter for the business. Our client list grew to its largest ever size, as we continued to win key business and onboarded large-scale clients. Massive projects like those for IPSL and other major clients were successfully completed, showcasing the strength, commitment and expertise of our team. We ramped up on our push for new business and new sectors, and expect to see these efforts being rewarded very soon. Year-on-year, we increased our revenue and earned a place for the first time on the Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA list—one of only eight Scottish businesses to do so. Our charitable efforts reached new heights, raising record funds for Maggie’s Cancer Care through a whole raft of activities including Movember, Jail or Bail, the Golf Day and our annual charity ball. The Stellar award cabinet grew significantly, including two prestigious Scottish Fintech Awards, recognizing both our client work and our commitment to caring for and developing the Stellar team. We also deepened our community ties, becoming the principal shirt sponsor for Heart of Midlothian FC, while offering support to grassroots sports across Scotland.
Stellar Connect made waves of its own. In July, we launched a bold new brand identity, reflecting our evolution. The team expanded, with more growth on the horizon for 2025. This year, we placed over 40 senior IT professionals and smashed our revenue target. Amidst challenges in the recruitment sector, we thrived while others downsized, proving the strength of our unique approach and unwavering commitment to excellence. We’ve generated new clients of our own to add to the roster, beyond those of Stellar Omada and by securing our presence on G-Cloud 14, we’ve opened up access to the lucrative public sector – a key target for the Stellar Group next year.
Meanwhile, Stellar Elevate reached new heights.Two cohorts of students joined our training programme this year, with successful graduates continuing to excel in client-facing roles. We launched an innovative Cyber Security Escape Room programme, collaborating with Heart’s Innovation Centre and local schools to educate young people on staying safe online. This initiative received fantastic media attention through press and online outlets, as well as extremely positive feedback from the schools themselves. Additionally, we hosted and mentored summer placement students within Stellar Omada and celebrated a Highly Commended award in the Herald Top Employer Awards 2024 for our Graduate/Apprenticeship Programme. In June, we also unveiled a rebrand to reflect our growing ambitions.
As 2024 draws to a close, we are proud of what we’ve achieved and can’t wait to get stuck into the exciting opportunities ahead in 2025.
